airtel 2Mbps for just Rs100 More

just got this email from airtel .

Funny thing is its so stupid lol. They sent a mail to their customers with an image which suppose to explain abt the new plan abt 2mbps for 100 Rs more. But the image source file is placed like this “images/click_button.jpg” in the airtel mail

Nice email campaign

after going thru the email headers/source i found it is going to some site which takes your airtel landline number and std code.

not much info they mentioned but 100 free calls for 100 more rs looks nice deal. so if interested have a look. But dont be surprised to see a fair usage policy after you downloaded few movies , some mp3s :p

enjoy the net with 2Mbps :p

   nah after this mail they sent me another for telling 10 GB quota over for my 512 Kbps plan. so as they not mentioned anything abt data transfer limit its of not much use to me.

   airtel is a cheap ISP which cant give good bandwidth

   yeah, a large pan Indian company cannot afford bandwidth. they seem to be a dyin company if that’s the case. poor companies do not have a good back end infrastructure and they over advertize. go to the next competitor who gives a better bandwidth+better download limit

   we need something like beam fibre in delhi man, its crazy they give you 10 mbps, uptil 50 gig i think, then 2 or 4 mbps unlim..sad part is they are currently only providing services in hyderabad not that it’l help but heres the link for curiosities sake !

   Airtel should really not go for such gimmicks. if they want to be the leader, offer a decent bandwidth AND some GBs to spare. not this measly 10 GBs

   I get this email regularly. A couple of months back they even called me to offer 2mbps for Rs 100 more. Turns out the FUP is only 7 GB. I currently have 512kbps till 20 GB, which I exceed every single month.

   Airtel is just trying to throttle customers like me with this “offer”.

    Hey dudes! It works. I just got upgraded my internet connection for just Rs. 100 more.
    Of coarse, i am still subject to Airtel’s “Fair Usage Policy” (10GB limit, but x4 speed in just Rs. 100 more is hell awesome!!!

    i am currently using 649 rupees plan(512kbps, 10gb data limit, unlimited)…so after opting this offer what will be the data limit?? will it be changed?
